To
determine your hat size: If you know your conventional
hat size, you can use it to find your Mountain Heather hat
size on the charts below. If not, measure your head around
the largest part, just above the eyebrows where the hat will
sit. Include the tops of your ears if you want the hat to
fit over them. If you do not have a flexible tape measure,
wrap your head with a string and measure the string. Compare
your head measurement with the size charts below to determine
your Mountain Heather hat size.

Notes
on hat fit: Keep in mind
your hat preferences. Do you want your hat to be big and loose
so that it won't press on your hair? Is there a drawstring
to make the hat a little smaller? I prefer a snug fit for
the Cotton Skull Caps, and Originals - I don't want any cold
air to sneak through to my ears. I like the Painters Cap larger
- the poof looks good with the visor. Same with the Microfleece
Skull so that the fleece can come down further over my ears.
I like taller hats, so I prefer the Large Denim Cadet over
the Small, even though my head size fits within the size overlap
for that style. If you are at the top end of a size range,
consider ordering up if you don't want a snug hat. You can
always send me your head measurement, and I will decide what
size might be best for you.
